At Little Friends, our students are introduced to string instruments through Little Strings, a program we proudly founded in partnership with the talented student musicians and educators at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.

As children explore string instruments, they're building confidence, strengthening listening skills, improving memory, developing fine motor coordination, and learning patience, focus, and perseverance. These are skills that support success far beyond the classroom.

Every snip with a pair of safety scissors helps build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, focus, and confidence. As little hands learn to cut carefully, they're also practicing patience, following directions, and developing skills they'll use for years to come.
