While taking digital notes seems more efficient research shows it may have some downsides. Laptops can be distracting if used for non-related activities during lectures. Additionally, students who type notes tend to transcribe lectures verbatim, which can result in shallow processing of the material and poorer performance on conceptual questions.

That’s what the Teen Alliance Club is all about. Starting soon, students will meet once a week to grow academically, develop life skills, and prepare for the future — all while having fun and making new friends.
