Beginning July 1, 2026, Florida students participating in high school sports for the first time will be required to complete an EKG screening as part of the Second Chance Act.

To help families prepare and keep student-athletes safe, Duval County Public Schools is partnering with Who We Play For to provide FREE heart screenings for students at select middle schools this month. ❤️

UPDATE: On Friday evening, Genung’s Fish Camp will host a Spring Oyster Roast benefiting the Tidal Resilience Foundation. This ticketed community event will help support our programs for grieving children, teens, and families.

Our Spring Break families will enjoy their private closing celebration earlier that afternoon, and we can’t wait to welcome the wider community later that evening for oysters, live music, and connection.

Spring Break Resilience Week is officially open for registration!

From March 17–20, Tidal Resilience Foundation will be offering gentle, ocean‑rooted afternoons for kids and families at Genung’s Fish Camp — with guided kayak sessions Tuesday through Thursday from 2–6pm.

This week is designed especially for kids and families navigating the waves of loss, offering connection, exploration, and time by the water.

And on Friday, we’ll close the week with a Community Picnic — free, open to the entire community, and a chance to celebrate a great week together. Food, community, and a simple moment of joy by the water. Donations are appreciated but never expected. I truly hope you’ll join us.
