ACS Blaze Girls Middle School Bible Study

BLAZE is the Walking with Purpose ministry for middle-school-aged girls. The mission of BLAZE is to use Scripture to speak truth into the hearts of young girls who are bombarded by lies about their true worth and beauty.

BLAZE is coming to Assumption Catholic School! The first of ten weekly lessons will start at the end of August. Each week, participants will be led through an ice breaker activity, worship & praise music, and a short lesson based on a lie found in the world and a truth found in Scripture.

Girls in their tween/teen years are filled with questions. They have doubts, they desire clarification, and they want to share their thoughts in a space that will allow them to make their relationship with God meaningful. Reserve Wednesday, August 28th - Wednesday, November 6th, 2:00 - 3:00. Look for registration paperwork to be sent home in the Friday folder! $55/per girl, includes after school homemade snacks, water or juice, craft, 10-week study, and lots more.

This! Discover what true friends are made of at the Blaze bible study. We will talk about topics such as friendship killers, how to be a Christ-like friend, how to lift up your friends instead of being a green eyed monster. (Hey, it happens to the best of us!)
Look for the Blaze bible study to crank up late August, every Wednesday from 2-3:00. Registration will open soon.

The need to look good, achieve, and constantly keep their image intact can create anxiety, loneliness and even depression. There have always been pressures, but the way in which kids today are glued to their phones means that there is never a break from it. It follows them from school to the home and causes the peer group to feel like their entire reality.
