Welcome to another exciting week at Duval Charter School at Coastal! As we begin the week, please note that school will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We look forward to welcoming students and families back for a busy week filled with opportunities to connect and engage.
The Book Fair will be open Tuesday, September 8, through Saturday, September 12. We encourage families to visit the Scholastic site to create an ewallet for their child to shop during the week and to stop by and support a love of reading during Open House and Donuts with Grownups.
Our Open House events take place this week with Grades K-2 on Tuesday (6:00 PM-7:30 PM), Grades 6-8 on Wednesday (6:00 PM), and Grades 3-5 on Thursday (6:00 PM-7:30 PM).
We also have sporting events Tuesday through Thursday.
Friday, September 11, students, teachers, and staff may participate in a Patriotic Dress Down Day as we honor and remember the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
Looking ahead, please mark your calendars for School Pictures on September 16 and 17 and FAST Testing for students in Grades 3-8 during the week of September 14.
