Here's what training actually looks like day to day in Jacksonville.

Students practice the skills the CDL skills test evaluates: backing the trailer, coupling and uncoupling, and working through the maneuvers examiners watch for. The instructors here have driven commercially themselves. They're not reading from a curriculum. They know what the test requires and what carriers expect from new drivers.

By the time test day comes, students have put in the reps. And it shows.
