Happy Monday! The first day of Spring Semester is tomorrow! Welcome back Gamecocks!🐔

Help make an impact on JSU students no matter where you are!❤️

By participating in our virtual 5K, you are making a difference in student’s lives by helping raise money for student scholarships.

Registration is open NOW! The 5K will start on Friday, December 4, and will end on Sunday, December 13th. You can participate on your own time, your own route and at your own pace. Participants will be able to submit their times if they wish, and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category!

Jax Jingle registration includes a long sleeve Jax Jingle t-shirt, a printable runners bib and a decal sticker. Register by Saturday, November 7th to guarantee your shirt. 5K’s not your thing? That’s okay! You can still purchase a shirt.

SAA members, past and present: This is Alan and I just wanted you all to know that my dear and beautiful wife, Elizabeth, passed away this past week. Thank you all SO much for being a part of our lives! We will never forget the volunteer work done with the Consignment Sale, the Shrimp Boil, and all of the other activities. There have been a few contributions to the organization in Elizabeth's name. I hope this organization continues to help shape people's lives in the future! - Alan

What a great weekend!

Victoria Clements, President, and Devin Simmons, Ambassador, spent the weekend at Ole Miss at the District 3 CASE ASAP Conference.

There they were able to collaborate with other university student alumni associations to help better our organization!

It was amazing meeting all of the other SAAs and we can’t wait to go back! If you would like to hear more about the weekend, make sure to come to this week’s meeting!

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Ricky Lowe for coming to speak to our members at last nights meeting! For anyone that couldn’t make it last night, Mr. Lowe spoke about his group, The Choice, which deals with many real life issues such as substance abuse, sexual assault, su***de, among others that aren’t spoken about much.

We will be having a meeting tomorrow with Ricky Lowe as our guest speaker! He will be speaking about creating his own group, called The Choice, centered around bringing together men that come from troubled homes and that have dealt with issues such as substance abuse among other things.
