Hello Chimney Lakes Families!
I hope you are enjoying the start of summer! The heat is definitely on!

We thought you might want to take advantage of those "PRIME DAYS" that the retailers have going on now, so we have updated our school supply lists for you. You can find them on our website or just click here.

As you are doing that, please make sure you sign up for Bus Registration for the 26-27 school year! Just go on your parent/guardian FOCUS account to sign up your child. It is listed under the "FORMS" section.

Finally, mark your calendars for Extended Day registration. Registration will open up on Monday, July 13th.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, August 7th for our Orientation and for the first day of school on Monday, August 10th!

Just a reminder for registration! Summer Camp will be all 5 days.

⏰ Summer Hours Reminder ⏰

Beginning Monday, June 8, Duval County Public Schools district offices will transition to a summer schedule.

The Parent Resource Center remains open Monday through Friday for families who need help with enrollment.

📅 District Admin Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
🚫 Friday: Offices Closed
👫Parent Resource Center Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

☀️ This summer schedule runs through July 24. Regular office hours resume July 27.

Reminder: Thursday, May 28, is the last day of school for students! We hope everyone has a strong finish to an amazing school year and a fun, safe summer ahead. ☀️📚

Last Day of School Reminders:

Tomorrow is the last day of school for the 25-26 school year! It is an Early Dismissal Day! We will begin dismissing students at 11:45 am. All students should be dismissed no later than 12:00 NOON. There is NO Extended Day tomorrow afternoon. There is morning Extended Day. If you are in Extended Day, please make sure your child's teacher knows how they will get home. If you have a Kindergartener, they must have a bus dismissal form. Kindergarteners will not be taken on the bus if they do not have this form.

Lastly, thank you so much for choosing Chimney Lakes Elementary as your child's school this year. We hope to see you all back for the 26-27 school year. Have a great summer!

Frozen Scoops will not be here today due to vehicle difficulties. We will let you know if they can return.

Award season started today! Just a reminder that Frozen Scoops will also be at the school after our award ceremonies during the day. Celebrate your scholar with a great frozen treat. Frozen Scoops will be found in the bus zone. 

Today was a good day for transitions. It’s our annual Transition Day when students get to visit a class on the next grade level. It helps students to realize next year isn’t so scary. Check out these fun moments!
