What started as a rainy day turned out to be gorgeous!!

The wildlings collecting items to make wombat stew on our walk. We laid out the blanket on the grass, closed our eyes and listened to the breeze in the trees and the river nearby

Last week was so busy I forgot to post what the Wildlings had been up to
Last week we seperated pumpkin seeds, feed the crows the guts, climbed in trees and found these amazing rocks.
Along with story time and an art project Id say it was a perfect fall Day
Im still looking for a couple of kids for the Friday class

I found a great little clearing at the park for independent play next time. I can guide the kids not to go past the fence and they would be able to play wildly and freely between the fence and the trail in this part of the woods while doing so safely

Thank you for coming today. Unfortunately some of the things I had planned we were not able to do (due to the space change) but I did leave a meassage for the manager of the park for clarification and hopefully they will get back to me
Next week I will plan accordingly if I dont hear back
I had so much fun today and hope youall did as well

Keep an eye out for updates

Hey guys just FYI dont park on the circle part of the drive, someone that works here just came out of the visitors center and said that no one is allowed to park there (seemed pretty annoyed)
Make sure you park in an actual parking spot just before the curve

One of the books Im reading in class this fall is My Tree and Me by Jo Witek

Today in class we read about how trees change each season.

Then the WILDLINGS climbed a tree, which was magic and turned them into sorcerers in the forest (just like the book)

So we collected all sorts of treasures on our walk and then made potions

The potions were mixed and saved in a jar, which we will paint with next week

Our next class will Oct 16th which is the 1 hour introductory class on the page under events.
Please keep in mind class size is very limited and pre registration and payment is required
