Indefinite and definite nouns In Albanian language, as well as in English, the nouns have two forms. These forms are: 1) indefinite (e pashquar), and 2) definite (e shquar) ones.
The indefinite form requires the article një (a, an) before the nouns. Anyway, using the indefinite article is not a must, as in English. The following nouns are indefinite: (një) orë, (një) enë, (një) zile. The definite form, unlike in English one which is made by putting the definite article the before the nouns, is made by changing the ending of the nouns, according to some rules the nouns have. The following nouns are definite: ora, ena, zilja
The Albanian language is part of the Indo-European language group and is considered to have evolved from one of the Paleo-Balkan languages of antiquity, although it is still uncertain which particular Paleo-Balkan language represents the ancestor of Albanian, or where in Southern Europe that population lived. In general there is insufficient evidence to connect Albanian with one of those languages, whether one of the Illyrian languages (which historians mostly confirm),[citation needed] or Thracian and Dacian. Among these possibilities, Illyrian is typically held to be the most probable, though insufficient evidence still clouds the discussion.

Use Albanian language at home
The easiest, most important step is to use your home language everyday. Many families worry that using their home language will confuse their children. In fact, children can easily learn several languages at the same time. They have an easier time learning English when they have a strong foundation in their first language.
Albanian sentences require the use of the conjunction që (that), but this may or may not be used in English constructions.
The verbs them and tregoj are used to mean urdhëroj (to command, to give an order) and should be translated to tell, as in this example:
Të lutem, thuaji Simon të vijë këtu. Please, tell Simon to come.
