Hi all,
After a lot of discussion we made the difficult decision to rehome our monitor Falafel. He is now living with NKS Reptiles . They are awesome people and without them we probably wouldn't have been able to go through with it.

We have been visiting him periodically to help him adjust. Please wish him well and many, many more adventures in his new home.

Please remember that owning a monitor is much like owning a raccoon on coffee. They need a large setup, and lots of enrichment and handling. They do well when on a routine. And, having them makes it difficult to leave home. It takes a village.

We love our buddy very much and think of him every day. We had almost 8 years with him, and he made our lives more rich for every single one.
