First, I would just like to say thank you so much to all of you that chose to follow my tutoring page. As some of you know I haven't had the best run of luck the last few months so let me assure you that any support that I receive is more appreciated than you can probably imagine. In short let me just say that I absolutely love teaching more than anything else I have ever done in my life, and for me having the opportunity to guide people in their learning process is the most amazing experience the world has to offer for someone like myself at least.

I have had this page for awhile now but I haven't ever promoted it much up to now, but I do plan on trying to keep up with it better and I would appreciate any potential tutoring opportunities that might be available. I don't really have a set rate for my services, and I am entirely willing to be flexible and work with you on prices. First off I would just like to thank all of you that have accepted my invitation to like my new tutoring services page. Secondly, I wanted to mention that the first meeting with any of you (or anyone that you might know as well. Please if you happen to know anyone that is need of tutoring services I would greatly appreciate it if you could direct them to my page) that is potentially considering using me as a tutor will be an entirely free consultation meeting. The aim in this first meeting is to begin to establish a professional and trusting relationship with students and parents or adult college level students seeking assistance with critical thinking and writing at the college level. I am able to either meet at a public location of the clients choosing or, if the potential client would prefer to discuss things from home, we can set up a meeting using Skype or some other equivalent application to do so.

In this consultation meeting I will of course introduce myself and provide any potential clients with background information concerning my experience as an educator, including sharing with them some of my preferred pedagogical approaches as well as my general philosophy as far as education is concerned. From there, after which the client provides what they feel is relevant background information about themselves and the student, the aim is to go on to discuss the students areas of need, their strengths and their weaker qualities that are in need of improvement. The goal in this free first consultation is to develop a general plan of action, a workable schedule for meetings, and to discuss both the desired approach and outcomes we are wanting to aim for to best ensure that the student achieves higher levels of academic success, and hopefully doing so in a way that the student finds enjoyable and the parents find helpful in their efforts to assist their child/teenage student achieve higher levels of academic success.
