Look at this family tree!! I know it’s not here but it is still neat to see! They have a live we**am. Sandy and Luna current eaglets will be fledging soon!🩷

We heard the eagle people. 🦅

The first version of this graphic had several timeline mistakes, and Big Bear fans caught them fast. Sunny, Gizmo, and Misty belonged to 2025. Spirit was 2022. Cookie and Simba were 2019. Mr. B and Jackie had Stormy and BBB in 2018.

So here’s the corrected version, rebuilt around the story fans know by heart: Ricky and Lucy, Jackie, Mr. B, Shadow, and the generations that turned one mountain nest into a global obsession.

Keep an eye out for Tree Hill’s newest resident! This female American Bullfrog has made herself at home in the pond. Notice the tympanic membrane, which is the circular area just behind her eye. In American Bullfrogs, males have tympanic membranes that are larger than their eyes, while females' are usually about the same size as their eyes. Males are also generally larger overall and can be identified by their brighter yellow throats and darker chin coloration.

Be sure to stop by the pond on your next visit and see if you can spot our newest guest! 🐸🪷

Oh no! You’ve found a baby bird on the ground, apparently alone and in distress. 🐥 Its tiny chirps may pull at your heartstrings, and it can be tempting to spring into action—but, not all baby birds need rescuing. That's why it's so important to stop and assess the situation.

If they do need your help, how to help them depends on a few factors: does this bird need immediate medical attention? And is it a nestling or a fledgling? Take a look at this graphic to determine how and when to assist baby birds—then click the link in our comments to learn more!
