We’re so proud of our preschool readers who completed our August Reading Log Challenge by reading at least 10 books at home during the month of August! 🎉📖

Building strong readers starts with making reading a regular part of everyday life, and we appreciate our families for taking the time to read, learn, and grow together at home. ❤️

Join ELC of Duval on Wednesday, September 9, for our free virtual family workshop, Learning on the Go! The workshop will focus on how children learn through play and everyday routines, and how parents can enhance their child's learning. 📚👑 First Day Fun at King Academy!

Our classrooms jumped right into learning on Day ONE! 🌟 From our littlest learners to our preschoolers, everyone was busy exploring, creating, and discovering through hands-on play.

🔤 Our preschoolers went on a letter hunt in the water table, finding letters and putting them together to make words.
🎨 Our toddlers got creative (and a little messy!) with aqua finger painting as they explored our color of the month.
🧸 And our infants explored objects beginning with the letter S, building early language skills through sensory play.

At King Academy, learning looks different at every age 💛

📚✏️ First Day of VPK! 👑🎉

Our VPK scholars kicked off their first day with big smiles, first-day photos, and lots of learning! 💛

From practicing writing their names ✍🏾 to strengthening those fine-motor skills with cutting activities ✂️, our little learners were already hard at work. This is only Day ONE, and we can’t wait to watch how much they learn, grow, and accomplish this school year! 🌱📚
