🌊🚀 RCSA Southeast SeaPerch Submarine Engineering Team has arrived at the Washing DC & University of Maryland and is ready for the international competition!

The team also visited the FBI Headquarters and Congressman Aaron Bean’s office in Washington, D.C.

Under Coach Duarte’s leadership, our three engineering teams spent months designing and building remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). They worked through many challenges, refined their designs, and developed engineering solutions to local problems—all while meeting tight timelines and achieving their performance goals.

Now they are ready to compete and showcase their hard work, creativity, and teamwork on the international stage.

What an amazing way to wrap up the school year! ☀️🎉 Today marked the final day of Field Day and the last day of school, with our middle school students ending the week with lots of fun, laughter, and school spirit. 💙💛

Over the past 3 days, students across all grade levels enjoyed unforgettable activities, games, and memories together. A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers for helping make Field Day such a success, and thank you to our PVO for organizing the wonderful BOGO Book Fair! 📚✨

We are so grateful for an incredible school year and cannot wait to welcome everyone back next year. Have a safe, fun, and relaxing summer! 🌴☀️

Day 2 of Field Day was a blast! 🎉☀️ Our 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade students had an amazing time rotating through fun stations, showing teamwork, creativity, and school spirit. From exciting trivia challenges and parachute activities to colorful chalk drawings, smiles were everywhere! 🎨🙌
We can’t wait for tomorrow as our 6th–8th grade students take over for their turn! Students- don’t forget to wear your spirit shirt or Field Day shirt and come ready for fun!

Talk about perfect timing! 🐥 The first baby chicks from Ms. Monroe and Ms. Gardiner’s classroom incubator hatched last night- just in time to wrap up the school year with our new fluffy friends- Dino Nuggie, Dumpling, Hei Hei, and Nugget!

📚🎉 Our BOGO Book Fair is off to a fantastic start! Students explored a huge variety of books and had so much fun browsing for exciting new reads and favorite titles.

🎉 Field Day fun is officially underway! Today, our Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 4th grade students kicked off the excitement with a day full of energy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Students had a blast moving from station to station, enjoying activities like tug-of-war, cup stacking, water balloons, bounce houses, and so much more! A huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers and staff for helping make the fun happen! Tomorrow: 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade! 🎊
