Senior Helpers was founded in 2002 by Tony Bonacuse with the help of Peter Ross after their firsthand experience of taking care of their family members. Tony and Peter recognized the need that wasn't adequately addressed by other organizations. They recognized that the majority of senior citizens prefer to live in their home, instead of moving to a new establishment. However the choices for the majority of seniors were extremely restricted. The majority of seniors didn't have access to reliable, well-trained and affordable care at home. This was the guiding principle that led to the creation of Senior Helpers.
