UF Health CEO gets first COVID-19 vaccine in Jacksonville Eleven months after the earliest recorded case of coronavirus in the United States, the first doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine arrived Monday morning at UF Health Jacksonville and the first 10 shots will be administered before noon.

UF College of Medicine names new dean Colleen G. Koch, M.D., M.S., M.B.A., has been named dean of the University of Florida College of Medicine, becoming the 10th dean and the first woman to hold the appointment in the college’s 64-year history.
