Hi TJ Family!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I want to thank our fathers and students who attended our final "All Pro Dad" session of the year. This has been a positive and enjoyable initiative, and we look forward to starting again in September 2026.
Congratulations to our PTA for winning the Literacy Award, the Humanitarian Award, and a Vision Screening Award at the Presidents and Principals Luncheon on Friday. We thank PTA for their dedicated, heartfelt work this year.
Our final School Advisory Council Meeting will be held tomorrow, May 18th, at 4:30 in the Media Center. We appreciate everyone who attended SAC this year. All stakeholders are always welcome.
Please note that all library books need to be turned in by Friday of this week, May 22nd. Notices regarding missing books have gone home with students during the last few weeks.
The PTA's "High Flyers Celebration" for students who met the proficiency or gains criteria on the FAST PM3 will be held on Friday, May 22nd. PTA sponsors this celebration and would greatly appreciate assistance from approved volunteers.
The "Good Citizens Celebration" will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, on a rotating schedule. Students earned this reward if they had at least 90% in conduct on their report cards for the second and third grading periods and on their progress reports during the fourth grading period.
The last day of school and the fourth grading period is Thursday, May 28th. Dismissal will be at 12:00 p.m., and there will be no Extended Day.
Finally, we have reached the time for our end-of-year awards assemblies. All assemblies are at 9:00. Please view the attached schedule and also important information about assemblies. Guests will enter through the gate by Building 2 and must show ID. They will only visit the cafeteria, not any other areas of the building. To ease the flow of dismissal traffic, students who are being checked out to go home will not return to their classrooms. Thank you for helping us prioritize safety and order.
Have a wonderful week!
