This is Abbey. She's the sweetest and cutest little pup I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. And she was the subject of my first commission in about 7yrs. I'm so thankful to have had this opportunity and I look forward to many more opportunities to paint or sculpt wonderful critters and their loving owners.

I just finished these GF, low-sugar lemon cookies dipped in dark chocolate and almond crumbles. ... Note - these can easily be made sugar-free with stevia or allulose chocolate. Swap maple syrup for allulose/monk fruit syrup. They're delicious! 🍋🍫🍋

This commission is nearly complete. I'll finish this week and work on the Alebrijes lesson at Aardwolf brewery next. :)

It's amazing how just adding a subtle bit of color and glazing can change a painting. Acrylics are not so fun to blend, but I'm giving myself kudos for my first commission and acrylic blending and glazing techniques in roughly 7-8yrs. And it feels great! I haven't established my niche style yet, but I'm working at it. In the meantime, pet portraits are super fun!
