I LOVE WHO I AM TODAY. š„¹ā¤ļø
Not because my journey has been perfect, but because Godās grace has carried me through every version of myself.
Iāve overcome divorce, betrayal, suicidal thoughts, anger, rage, bitterness, and bad decisions that hurt others. I lost my home, had my car repossessed, and was laid off from a job I had been on for almost 10 years. Today, Iām making nearly half of what I used to make.
I walked through lupus and experienced healing. Iāve also watched my son endure a traumatic experience that shook me so deeply, it almost made me question everything.
But I AM STILL HERE. šš¾
Iāve learned that my worth was never in my marriage, my home, my car, my job title, or my salary. My identity is in God.
Today, Iām loving on myself while allowing God to do His best work in me. I can acknowledge my mistakes, take accountability, forgive others, forgive myself and still receive Godās grace.
My heart is no longer full of bitternessāitās full of love, forgiveness, gratitude and grace. ā¤ļø
I may not have everything I once had, but I have something greater: peace, purpose, wisdom, faith and a deeper relationship with God.
I love the woman I am today and Iām excited about the woman God is still shaping me to become.
I AM HERE. I AM GROWING. I AM GRACED. I AM LOVED. AND I AM BLESSED! šš¾š¦
āBut by the grace of God I am what I amā¦ā ā 1 Corinthians 15:10
My testimony isnāt that I never fell. My testimony is that Godās grace never stopped reaching for me. ā¤ļø
