Just a reminder 3rd Grade students take PM3 tomorrow. Please make sure they get a good nights rest and they come to school on time. We start testing at 9:00 a.m.

We got to celebrate the greatest principal in the world Friday! Principal James goes above and beyond for her staff and students every single day (often including on weekends!). She is in classrooms everyday interacting with students, modeling lessons, and being the kind of leader every teacher would want. Ms. James has worked so hard to turn George Washington Carver into the school it is today, and we are so grateful to her. Thank you for everything Ms. James, and happy Principal Appreciation Day!

As a reminder, for the upcoming 26-27 school year, we will be consolidating into Rufus E. Payne Elementary School, rated "A" school. Please update all contact information in FOCUS to ensure you receive opening of school updates.

25-26 End of Year Parent Information

On April 2nd, we got to celebrate our incredible students of the month! These students go above and beyond to make sure they are on their best behavior, respectful, and kind to their teachers and classmates. Congratulations to these school leaders!

Late post, but GWC celebrated Black history month last week with an excellent program put on by Team-Up! Students had their lines memorized and taught us all about important figures in Black History. We are proud to celebrate Black History!

So proud of our GWC girl scouts! They had their first cookie booth today! They practiced their customer service skills and honed their entrepreneurial spirit.
