Dear Ospreys:
Dr. Amanda Pascale, an Associate Professor of Higher Education Administration and a 2021-2022 Faculty Excellence Fellow with the Office of Faculty Excellence, is planning to form an Interdisciplinary Research Community (IRC) consisting of faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students from different disciplinary backgrounds across campus. Two cohorts will be selected for the IRC, one in Fall 2021 and the second in Spring of 2022. Members of IRC will meet once a month during the semester (3 meetings), convening to discuss a pre-selected empirical research article. This will be a low-key, no pressure opportunity to engage with others in our UNF academic community who are interested in intellectual conversation around interesting interdisciplinary research.
If you are interested in being selected to participate in the rich and fruitful discussion among IRC cohorts, please email Dr. Amanda Pascale at [email protected] indicating your interest with your name and academic program no later than Wednesday, August 25th. We are looking forward to having some stimulating conversation and discussion and to forming an academic interdisciplinary community here at UNF.
Again, we appreciate receiving your self-recommendation by August 25th so that we can begin planning this exciting opportunity. Please contact the IRC leader, Dr. Amanda Pascale ([email protected]).
