Five years ago when I decided to retire from the Federal Government, I contemplated what I wanted to do Post-retirement. As the years turned into days, I decided the first several months I wanted to travel and have adventures/experiences to make lasting memories. Yesterday marked one week post-retirement and I kept true to my word. I went fishing for the first time and caught a fish (small fish, BIGGER memories). As my son told me “Mom it’s ok some people don’t catch anything they’re first time!” He was so right but it wasn’t about the fish it was about the experience ! ❤️

I can remember once upon a time, I hated looking at myself in the mirror. I honestly didn’t like the reflection I saw looking back at me. Know I look at that reflection and am proud and amazed at the person looking back at me. It all happened when I realized that I WAS ENOUGH! Change your perspective, change your life!

Year 55 brought me clarity, revolution, deeper discernment, true peace and evolution. I picked this picture not only because my grandson exudes joy but it’s a perfect depiction of what I am holding on to in Year 56! It’s implementation time…nice to meet you 56!

Happy New Year to all my Contracting Professionals and Hello October to all. It’s my birthday month and I celebrate ALL month with a theme. This year’s theme is Love…Peace…Happiness! It’s been a journey but I’m embrace my NEW.

32 years ago I today my life changed for the better, my baby girl was born. She has been the epitome of “my day one”! As a baby she would wake up with a smile that would light up the room and change the atmosphere, it’s no surprise that she is on a move to change the world through impact. I never thought I could live her more than the first day I met her but now seeing her as a mom makes me love her even more! Happy Birthday my first baby girl enjoy to the fullest!

So many of you have called or text checking on me because I’ve been MIA. This picture explains it all. For the past month I’ve been busy being a MiMi to this precious angel, my BEAN! He has given me so much joy in his short time here but my life is forever changed. As my time grows near to head back home, my emotions are all over the place because I don’t want to leave him but he is in great hands with his mom and dad! But, I will definitely be back every month to love and spoil him with all the love he deserves. Mimi loves you Mbur!
