Next Step Educational Support Services is a result of a calling and desire to teach students and serve families. With a degree in APPLIED PHYSICS , our founder, Tom, served in the US Navy as a NUCLEAR ENGINEER for 20 years. After retirement, he moved into a career with the Department of Defense. While serving our country and our military is gratifying, something was still missing. Tom was blessed
to have the opportunity to teach GEOMETRY and PHYSICS on a part time basis. Having taught in the classroom and tutored for 7 years, Tom has discovered that the need for clear, professional instruction in the STEM courses is significant and increasing. His goal is to not only help students understand the HOW and WHAT, but more importantly the WHY. He has a desire to help families that choose any variety of educational options. We feel that the most effective way to accomplish this is through personalized tutoring and teaching that is tailored to each student's needs, goals and learning style. With that in mind, we are excited to offer individual and group tutoring either virtually or in person. We also offer new content delivery as well as personalized SAT/ACT/ASVAB prep.
