DANCE & MUSIC CAMP BEGINS June 8!

Dancers will learn the basics of ballet and jazz while preparing for a dance performance inspired by our “Under The Sea” theme. The students will learn dance technique, while gaining the confidence to perform for friends and family and explore movement ideas with their peers. We will use arts and crafts to dive deeper into our theme while encouraging dancers to use their own creativity to explore expression through dance!

Join us June 8–13 from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM daily for a fun-filled week of dance, music, rehearsals, crafts, and refreshments. This camp is FREE, with only a $30 activities fee.

The camp is directed by accomplished Broadway actor and dancer Tanisha Moore and concludes with a special performance for family and friends on Saturday, June 13 at 11:00 AM at Arlington United Methodist Church, 1400 University Blvd. N, Jacksonville, FL.

Introducing Tanisha Moore, a Jacksonville, FL native with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Theatre from Florida State University. She has traveled the US and beyond with the national tours of Flashdance, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Moulin Rouge the musical as well as several cruise ships and regional productions such as Mamma Mia, Hairspray, The Wiz and more. She has been featured performing on the Tony Awards, the Walt Disney Christmas Parade with Mariah Carey, and singing on several musical cast recordings.

Whether you’re 8 or 80, Pilates is for anyone looking to improve their quality of life with more strength, flexibility, and energy. It’s a unique way to strengthen your whole body. With Pilates being a low impact form of exercise, it’s it can easily accommodate anyone who would like to move.

Classes Available:
Youth — Ages 10-15 Tuesdays, 6-7 pm
Adult — Ages 16 & over Tuesdays, 7-8pm

What to Bring & Wear
Come dressed in comfortable workout clothes and bring a bottle of water. Pilates mats and all necessary equipment will be provided!

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Bridget Woolley is a Ballet/Contemporary dancer and Pilates instructor based out of Jacksonville Florida. In 2020 Bridget moved to North Carolina to attend UNC School of the Arts as a ballet major. Her Freshman year she was introduced to Pilates by Tarin Griggs, her appreciation for cross training quickly grew. In 2022, she got certified to teach mat Pilates with Carrie Pages. After teaching Pilates to dancers at School of the Arts, she decided to expand her Pilates knowledge. In 2024 she got certified to teach on the reformer, under the direction of Kristion Henry. And then the following summer of 2025, she finished her certification as a fully comprehensive Pilates instructor. For the past 5 years Bridget has had the opportunity to teach pre professional dancers, professional dancers, D1 track and field teams, and a variety of different levels through Club Pilates.
