Floatin’ into summer one color at a time! ☀️🛟 Kindergarten artists created these vibrant pool float paintings using oil pastels and watercolor. Students explored pattern, color mixing, texture, and watercolor resist techniques while designing their own bright summer-inspired floats drifting across cool blue water. I love how bold, playful, and unique every single one turned out! 💦🎨

Sometimes the simplest projects bring the sweetest results 🍓✨
Our Pre-K artists kept it simple—paint, patterns, and a whole lot of creativity—and look what happened! These strawberries turned out bold, colorful, and full of personality. It’s always amazing to see how even the youngest artists can create something so eye-catching with just a few techniques. ❤️🎨

One small artist, BIG imagination 💫🎨
For their annual poetry recital, this first grader shared her own original poem all about her love of art—from colorful pastels and squiggly lines to sparkly beads and clay creations. Every detail is uniquely her, full of creativity, personality, and joy. 💖
Moments like this are what it’s all about—helping young artists find their voice and celebrate what they love.

Wheel-thrown magic from our 4th & 5th grade artists! 🌀✨
As an extension opportunity, students who finished their projects early got to hop on the pottery wheels—and WOW did they deliver. From bold forms to playful glazing, these pieces showcase creativity, risk-taking, and serious craftsmanship.
We explored layering with Maco Jungle Gems and Stroke & Coat glazes, creating those amazing speckles, bursts, and glossy finishes that make each piece one-of-a-kind.
So proud of these artists for pushing themselves and trying something new at the wheel—this was definitely a highlight to end the year! 💙

Time flies when you’re having fun… and this project proved it ⏰✨
Our 3rd graders designed and built their own whimsical clock sculptures using cardboard, tempera paint, and beads—complete with real working clock gears! From colorful patterns to imaginative details, every piece is as unique as its artist.
Hands-on, creative, and a little bit magical—this was easily one of our favorite projects of the year 💛

Kindergarten artists stepped into the world of Vincent van Gogh 🌌✨ Inspired by his famous swirling skies, they used bold brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and expressive lines to create their own Starry Night masterpieces. With paint, pastels, and sparkling stars, they explored how Van Gogh showed movement and emotion through art 💙🌙
