Congratulations to Ms. Byonkia Lockhart, 1st grade teacher & Ms. Carmen Williams, Special Education 1-1 ParaProfessional for being named with this August honor. They were gifted a front row parking spot, certificate, picture frame, & pin of outstanding work.

We have been working hard to ensure that our coming home to JES was safe & orderly AND super engaged in learning that we forgot to honor these awesome individuals for showing kindness & respect over these past few weeks! BookNook Afterschool Tutoring Reminder

JES Parents/Guardians, this is a friendly reminder that BookNook Afterschool Tutoring Permission Forms are due TOMORROW — Thursday, September 17th!

Program Details:

📅 September 29–October 15
📆 Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 3:00–5:00 p.m.
📖 Live virtual Literacy & Math tutoring
🏫 Held at Jacksonville Elementary School
🍎 Snack, tutoring, afternoon recess & dismissal included
🚌 Please indicate the mode of transportation your scholar will need at dismissal

Scholars will remain on campus for the entire tutoring session.

Please return the permission form for your scholar by end of day tomorrow. We are excited to provide this opportunity for our scholars to learn, grow, and build confidence in Literacy and Math!

What a special morning it was celebrating some of the most treasured people in our scholars’ lives! We are so grateful to all of the grandparents and special guests who joined us and helped make the morning so memorable. 🥰
