We’re excited to kick off another fun year of clubs at SPE! 🎉🐢

A few important reminders for Q1:

💜 Q1 Clubs are for 1st–5th grade students only. *Kindergarteners can join the fun beginning in Q2!

💚 Only students who have registered AND PAID for a club may stay after school for clubs.

⏰ Club pick-up is at 4:15 PM at the FRONT GATE unless you selected Extended Day for your student.

🚨 NO CLUBS this Thursday, 8/27, due to Open House!

🌊 SAVE THE DATES — SWIM AMERICA IS BACK! 🏊‍♀️🐢

Our 3rd–5th grade Sea Turtles will head to Fletcher Pool this fall for Swim America, and WE NEED IN-POOL VOLUNTEERS to help make it happen! 💙

📅 3rd Grade: Sept. 14–16
📅 4th Grade: Sept. 21–23
📅 5th Grade: Sept. 28–30
⏰ All classes: 9:00–10:30 AM

⚠️ IMPORTANT VOLUNTEER INFO: Because Swim America is a field trip, anyone volunteering at the pool MUST have Level 2 DCPS volunteer clearance. Please check your current volunteer status and apply for Level 2 NOW so you’re ready when sign-ups open!

📝 FIELD TRIP FORMS: Forms will come home closer to your student’s grade-level dates. ALL students must have a signed permission form to participate and walk to Fletcher Pool.

🌸 K–2 families: Your Swim America sessions will take place in May — more information to come!
