Kendra Sharp is the founder of Stem&Grow. A former teacher, working in early and elementary education, STEM classes were always her favorite. Kendra resides in Jacksonville Beach with her husband and 2 children, one being neurodivergent. Kendra says, "I see the challenges associated with learning and how difficult school can be for children first hand. My goal is to plant a love of learning through play and watch your child flourish, Stem & Grow!"

Kristi is an occupational therapist with 9 years of experience who is passionate about helping children develop their sensory-motor skills, emotional regulation, and socialization through child-led play and exploration.

She believes in empowering parents and creating strong parent-child connections through education and support. Kristi's nature-based classes incorporate outdoor play and activities to provide children with opportunities to connect with nature and reach their full potential through play, exploration, and connection.

We are excited to introduce our newest class - Wave Warriors Kids: A Mindful Yoga Class!🌊

This class will help kids build strength, balance, and flexibility, while also developing a greater awareness of their body and mind. We will learn and explore yoga poses, breath work and mindfulness practices.

The class name, Wave Warrior Kids, is inspired by the ocean and its powerful waves. We believe that just like a surfer, children need to learn to ride the waves of their emotions, and yoga can be a helpful tool for this.

Dr. Jennifer Quartano believes every family needs a tribe. She co-founded Beaches Confident Kids to fulfill this mission, creating an environment where families can feel confident in the expert support to provide a fun and engaging learning environment. Dual board-certified physical therapist in pediatrics and neurology, Dr. Jenny has a passion for seeing children and families grow successfully and thrive together. She has vast experience working all the way from neonatal intensive care to the functional fitness environment and everything in between.

As a mother herself, she understands the challenges parenting can bring, and she seeks to bring the expertise in how we think, move, and act to influence how families learn, grow, and thrive. When not working with children and families, she can be found focusing on her own health-building healthy habits that empower her own continued development and balance.

Mindfulness and Messy Play is a nature-based class is designed to introduce children to the wonders of nature and promote mindfulness through messy play activities. Being in nature and engaging in mindful activities can help children learn to regulate their emotions and improve their focus. The class will also encourage creativity, imagination, cognitive and physical development and more.

During class, parents are able to connect with other like-minded parents as well as unwind and enjoy quality time with their child.
