Congratulations to Hailey Luedtke, Living Word Class of 2026, on an incredible start to her college soccer career at the University of Northern Iowa!

Hailey recorded 10 saves in her Panther debut, the most by a UNI goalkeeper in her debut since at least 2008!

What a way to begin a new school year at Living Word!

We welcomed more than 320 students to campus, the largest enrollment in Living Word history. We started the day in chapel, diving into God’s Word together and leading with the Most Important Thing, our faith in Jesus. ❤️

This year, we’ll be guided by Isaiah 55:8–9, a powerful reminder that God’s thoughts and ways are higher than our own. We can’t wait to see where He leads us!

A big thank-you to Student Council for making the first morning even sweeter by serving donuts! 🍩

🌱 A fresh new look at Living Word!

The landscaping around our front entrance is complete and looking great!

A huge THANK YOU to the volunteers who gave up part of their Saturday morning to help plant everything. Many hands really did make light work!

We’re also incredibly thankful to Lammscapes for removing the old landscaping, prepping the beds, and providing the new plants and flowers.

We appreciate everyone who helped make our front entrance look fresh and welcoming!

🐺 Welcome back to Living Word, Mr. Woods!

We’re excited to welcome MJ Woods back home to Living Word as a new member of our staff! A 2019 LW graduate, Mr. Woods will be working with students in our Resource Department while also serving as an assistant football coach.

After graduating from Living Word, MJ played football at Trinity International University before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Since then, he’s worked with teens in a variety of settings, including New Berlin West High School and a family detention center in St. Louis.

Now, he’s back where it all started, fulfilling one of his lifelong dreams of working at Living Word. We’re thrilled to have one of our own back at LW. Welcome home, Mr. Woods!
