Hands-on learning is more fun ๐
Health Science students helped with sports physicals last week and got a glimpse of real patient care.
Thank you to our favorite athletic trainer, Paul McMahan, with the Ochsner Rush Health Sports Medicine Team for making this opportunity possible!

These Health Science 2 students wrapped up their CNA clinicals this week at J.G. Alexander Nursing Center, and what an incredible experience it was!
These students stepped into real patient care, built confidence, and gained hands-on skills that simply canโt be taught in a classroom alone. Opportunities like this are what make our program so special.
We are so proud of the hard work, compassion, and professionalism they showed throughout the experience. These students are on track to graduate high school with their CNA license already in hand, giving them a huge head start in the healthcare field.
A big THANK YOU to J.G. Alexander Nursing Center for partnering with us and investing in our students. Your support makes a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for the opportunity you provide!
(Not pictured is Ryanne Oliver, who had already headed to the softball field for round two of playoffs with the Lady Yellowjackets tonight. Good luck, Ryanne and the Lady Jackets!
