The team participated in a facilitated session on the practical use and governance of artificial intelligence at work, lead by Aaron of Peritix. The team zoned in on the interactive session and enjoyed the hands on approach and group participation. We thank this month’s Town Hall host for their partnership and for helping to give the team a practical, relevant conversation around AI, security, and responsible use!

Please Join Us in Welcoming Adrianna! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Adrianna into her new role as Administrative Secretary for the Executive Director of IT!

Adrianna began her journey with Jackson Public Schools as a Clerk at ECDC, where she demonstrated her dedication and commitment to serving others. She was later promoted to Bookkeeper and has now transitioned into her newest role, bringing her experience, positive energy, and passion for helping others to the IT team.

Adrianna truly thrives in being of service and assisting others, both in and outside of the workplace. Her core strengths include being a progressive and free thinker, independent, humanitarian, and original qualities that make her a unique and valuable addition to the team.

Outside of work, Adrianna enjoys fine outdoor dining at sunset, solo movies—because sometimes the best company is your own—and exploring home and architectural design and structures. She appreciates beautiful spaces, unique designs, and discovering the stories and creativity behind the places people call home.

Teachers, Administrators, Staff, and District Leaders — submitting a complete and accurate IT service request is the quickest way to get the assistance you need.

✅ Use the blue "Request Service" button to submit your request.
❌ Do NOT use the "New Incident" button for standard IT support requests.
Before submitting your ticket, be sure to:
✔️ Select the correct service category
✔️ Include your school, room number, and device information (if applicable)
✔️ Clearly describe the issue and when it started
✔️ List any troubleshooting steps you've already tried
✔️ Attach screenshots, photos, or error messages when available
The more details you provide, the faster our IT team can diagnose and resolve your issue so you can stay focused on teaching, learning, and supporting our scholars.

Super Excited to welcome Myisha Turner to the IT Services team as our newest Network Analyst, where she will be specializing in our helpdesk operations!

Myisha is an emerging technology professional with a strong foundation in information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data science. She recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Cybersecurity and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence with a concentration in Data Science.

She brings a practical philosophy to the department, believing that technology is most impactful when it solves real problems and makes people’s work easier. Dedicated to continuous learning, Myisha is actively expanding her expertise across AI, data science, cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity. Her overarching goal is to build innovative, data-driven solutions that create meaningful value for our organization and the communities we serve.
