As parents, we’re always looking for ways to help our children grow, connect, and feel confident. Music therapy supports early childhood development, helping children build communication, emotional, social, and motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

At Harmony Garden, we love creating musical experiences where children can learn, express themselves, and thrive at their own pace.

Harmony Garden is coming back this summer to all your local JDL branches for ✨FREE✨pop-up sprouts classes! Registration is required, but what's a couple of clicks for some early childhood music classes perfect for bonding, socializing, and meeting new friends? Especially when it comes at no cost to you!

We added a second class of Singing for Speech because our first filled up so fast! Make sure to snag a spot in it while you can. Music is a great way to support speech goals because it is processed in many of the same parts of the brain. This is a Lifeways Campership approved camp, so talk to your case manager if you need help with funding.

Last call for session I of our summer sprouts! These mini sessions are only 4 weeks long, so they're a great way to squeeze in a music class around vacations.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 6/9, is our summer kick-off concert at the park! We just wanted to remind everyone that the Harmony Gardeners concert will be tomorrow at 6pm. We hope you'll come out to the Cascades Rotary Bandshell to enjoy the fresh air and good music.

Its not too late to sign up for one of our music therapy summer camps. These camps are inclusive and run by board certified music therapists - kids can come meet new friends, socialize, and have fun all while targeting behavioral and social/emotional goals. All of our camps are Lifeways Campership approved, so talk to your case manager if you need help with funding.

Music Therapy Fun Fact:

Did you know the brain processes music in multiple areas at the same time? That means music can support movement, memory, emotions, communication, and attention all at once! That’s one reason music therapy can be such a powerful tool for people of all ages: from young children developing language skills to older adults reconnecting with memories through familiar songs.

Just popping in to share some of these photos from our Creative Connections concert a few weeks ago! Look at those smiling faces - you can tell just how much practice they put into this performance for their families.
