Jackson High School 100-Year Celebration Volunteer Interest Form Jackson High School is celebrating 100 years! We are looking for volunteers to help plan and support this special milestone. Please complete the form below to share your interest in serving on the planning committee.

These amazing young ladies collected and saved up their very deserving PBIS points to have lunch with the superintendent! Congrats ladies! Yum!

SCMV Options hosted a Family Appreciation breakfast this past Wednesday as a precursor to our Annual Picnic. Thanks to our families who attended!

SCMV Options celebrates the 2026 school year with our Annual Picnic. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work and to our special families for a great time! The SCMV family played corn hole, sang karaoke, drew beautiful pictures with chalk, played card and other games, and had a great lunch served by staff and parents.

Thank you for the drop by, Superintendent Jeremy Patterson, Assistant Superintendent Kriss Giannetti, and Communications Specialist Lois Dunning!

We concluded the day with a rousing Kickoff Championship game of KickBall, Staff vs Students…… the Staff took home the trophy for 2026, but the Students say “Wait til next year!”

🧡🖤 🎉 Jackson High School is turning 100! 🎉 🧡🖤
We’re inviting our community to help make this milestone unforgettable.
Beginning in January 2027, we will celebrate a full year of Viking pride, honoring Jackson High School’s history from its opening in September 1927 through today. With the theme “Once a Viking, Always a Viking,” this Centennial celebration will highlight the people, traditions, and stories that make JHS so special.
We are forming a Centennial Committee and would love for community members to join us. There will be opportunities to serve on or chair subcommittees based on your interests, including athletics, arts, alumni engagement, academics, media, history, scholarships, and more.
📅 Kickoff Meeting: Tuesday, June 16, 2026
🕠 Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
🍽 Light dinner and refreshments will be served
📍 Location: JHS Media Center
We have an exciting year planned, including monthly celebrations featuring each decade, alumni events, music and arts showcases, athletics recognition, and a community-wide rededication. A few special events will even take place before 2027 begins.
This is a wonderful chance to help tell the story of JHS, reconnect generations of Vikings, and celebrate 100 years of tradition, excellence, and community.

🍎☀️ Jackson Public Schools Meet Up & Eat Up Summer Meals Program ☀️🍎

🗓️ School is almost out for the summer, but healthy meals are still on the menu!
Jackson Public Schools is proud to offer FREE summer meals for all children 18 years of age and younger through our Meet Up & Eat Up program. This is a great opportunity for children in our community to enjoy nutritious breakfasts and lunches throughout the summer at designated meal sites.
