What is Peace Academy?

Peace Academy is a personalized microschool serving students in grades 3–8 in the Jackson, Mississippi area. We blend the structure and academic support of a traditional school with the flexibility, creativity, and individualized attention of homeschooling.

Our students learn in small, nurturing environments where they are known, valued, supported, and appropriately challenged. Learning extends beyond worksheets and textbooks—students explore concepts through hands-on projects, science investigations, collaborative activities, technology, inquiry-based learning, and meaningful real-world connections.

At Peace Academy, students are encouraged to:

What an incredible blessing it has been to officially close out Peace Academy’s inaugural year!

This first year has been nothing short of amazing. From our scholars’ academic growth to the hands-on learning experiences, leadership opportunities, community service, field trips, family connections, and unforgettable moments, we are truly grateful.

To our founding families, thank you for trusting us with your children, believing in our vision, and walking alongside us as we built something special. Your support, encouragement, and partnership mean more than words can express.

At Peace Academy, we believe in creating a nurturing environment where students are seen, supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. This year proved that small schools can make a BIG impact.

As we reflect on all that was accomplished, we are already working hard and preparing for another amazing year! We are excited to add even more meaningful opportunities for our scholars to learn, explore, lead, serve, and grow.

That’s right… you’re seeing it correctly.

100% of the students at Peace Academy showed academic growth this school year.

Every single student we serve grew at least TWO grade levels, with several students growing three or more grade levels in reading and math.

At Peace Academy, we don’t center our learning model around standardized testing. We focus on personalized learning, individualized support, and meeting the unique needs of each student. We believe students thrive when they are seen, supported, challenged, and taught in ways that work for them.

And the results speak for themselves.

Through hands-on learning, small learning environments, targeted instruction, and customized learning plans, our students made incredible academic gains this year. Their benchmark assessments, given at the end of each quarter and semester, help us track growth, monitor goals, and celebrate progress every step of the way.
