Four of our JHS theater students attended a playwriting workshop today at the Wharton Center. These students worked on the start of a short script after learning some playwriting techniques and a little bit about dialogue writing.

Mr. Ernst and Mr. Y were very impressed with their confidence and creativity! Thank you Wharton Center for Performing Arts for the amazing opportunity!

Fall play auditions are Tuesday starting at 2:30pm and Wednesday starting at 3:30, students interested in auditioning should head to the band room (109) after school with their completed audition packet. Mr. Ernst and Mr. Y are so excited to see your talent! Students interested in backstage/crew roles only do not need to attend auditions.

Really proud of our JHS theater students participating in community theater!

Mason V. was just in Footloose the last two weekends at the Sauk.

Grace P. has been cast in CSJ's Fall production of Wizard of Oz!

Great to see our students bring their talents to these wonderful community groups!

Auditions Sept 8 or Sept 9, or by appointment before

Our Spring musical will be:
Curtains: School Edition
Book by RUPERT HOLMES, Music by JOHN KANDER, Lyrics by FRED EBB, Original Book and Concept by PETER STONE, Additional Lyrics by JOHN KANDER and RUPERT HOLMES
Directed by Mr. Y
Performances April 16-18
Auditions date expected in early January
