We promote a positive, supportive community. Negative or discouraging comments will be deleted. Mississippi School for the Blind is a fully accredited elementary and secondary program (K-12) designed to focus on the unique learning needs of children and youth with visual impairments or blindness, including those with additional disabilities. Every student receives instruction

and guidance from teachers and staff who have been specially trained to work with children and youth with visual impairments.

🎉 September is Attendance Awareness Month at MSB! 🎉 Every day counts—and being present pays off!



ATTENDANCE AWARENESS MONTH
Show Up. Shine Bright.

Each day, students and teachers who are present will be entered into a drawing!

Calling All MSB Grandparents!

Join us for the MSB Grandparents’ Luncheon on Monday, September 14, 2026! We look forward to celebrating the love, wisdom, and support our grandparents bring to our students’ lives.

MSB grandparents should arrive at 11:00 A.M.
Cost: $7.00 per person (cash only)

Teachers will contact families to complete registration for this special event. We can’t wait to welcome our grandparents to MSB!
