Teton Music School pairs renowned instructors with eager students in the premier music facilities at the Center for the Arts in Jackson, Wyoming. We unlock a life of music for children and adults - whether you just want to jam along to your favorite playlist or perform at the top of your game, Teton Music School can help you get there. Our students enjoy multiple practice rooms, two ensemble spaces, and an amazing faculty of professional teachers. Our current focus at the school is to increase access to great music education through scholarships, expanded programming, and focused fundraising efforts.

15+ years performing everything from jazz festivals to weddings, now composing lesson plans as creative as his setlists. 🎸

Meet Nic Quilter—guitar, piano, bass & composition teacher at Teton Music School. A University of Utah grad who's performed with guest artist Wycliffe Gordon and leads his own group, Nic brings a career of jazz, pop, rock and blues experience into the studio.

His approach: curiosity first, technique second, always centered on what each student wants to create.

Meet Lynnette Turner Parry—voice teacher at Teton Music School. A trained singer, actress and dancer with a BFA from Utah State, Lynnette has performed everywhere from Disney cruise ships to the Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole. She’s upbeat, energetic, and always encouraging students to explore new styles.

Grew up performing on the Bar J Chuckwagon stage. Now he plays (and teaches) practically everything with strings. 🪕

Meet Clay Humphrey—guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, ukulele & piano teacher at Teton Music School. Born and raised in Jackson, Clay grew up steeped in bluegrass and western music at his family's Bar J Chuckwagon, and picked up his first guitar at age 12.

His philosophy: with the right technique, the lines between musical styles start to disappear.

Meet Joe Rudd—piano, woodwinds & music production teacher at Teton Music School. A Wyoming native and certified Apple pro, Joe spent years producing sound for top Hollywood studios and working alongside legendary musicians before bringing that experience home.
