Incredibly fortunate and blessed to have my students and families, and our friend Veronica James join Mark and I for a beautiful MSO concert featuring Julian Rhee. I've known Julian for nearly 10 years and his and his family's generosity and kindness for my students and for me is treasured. Alirio - an extension of our family- was able to come up from Chicago and was elated to finally see Julian. Alirio is finishing his master's in violin performance and coincidentally saw many fellow musicians he knew from his years in WYSO and other music based opportunities and events. It was a wonderful atmosphere that was filled with excitement, inspiration and love of music. We were all moved by Julian's astounding interpretation of Korngold's violin concerto and the MSO's performance of music by Barber and Rachmaninoff. Bravo tutti!!

Congratulations to KML Junior, Nathaniel, on his audition for MYSO Senior Symphony, with 1st violin 9th chair assignment and 6th grade Slinger Middle student, Emily, on her first year in MYSO. She received assistant concertmaster of String Orchestra North.
