Founded in 1976, Jackson Christian is a private college preparatory Christian school located in Jackson, Tennessee. With an enrollment of more than 855 students from preschool through high school, Jackson Christian offers TSSAA Division II athletics, fine arts and a Digital Learning Initiative for all grade levels. Jackson Christian is fully accredited by Cognia (formerly AdvancED) through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the National Christian School Association.

So much sweetness filled the air in our Elementary and Early Learning Village today as grandparents visited classrooms, snapped photos, completed a scavenger hunt, and shopped the book fair. To honor our 50th anniversary in Christian education, we are proud to launch our "Fifty in Fifty" alumni spotlight.

Congratulations to Megan Hyde, Class of 2014!

Megan currently serves as the Children’s Minister at Campbell Street Church of Christ, where she is in her second year of leading and pouring into children from birth through 5th grade. Her heart for ministry is evident in her faithful investment in the lives of young people and their families.

A dedicated servant both locally and globally, Megan also serves on the Board of Nicaragua Christian School. Prior to her current role, she spent six years at Jackson Christian, including four years as the Elementary STREAM Director, where she made a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.

Megan holds an undergraduate degree from Freed-Hardeman University and a Master of Education from York College, equipping her with both the knowledge and passion to serve with excellence.

Known for her calm spirit, kindness, and humility, Megan is a true reflection of God’s love. She has a remarkable way of making others feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. Through her ministry and daily life, she continues to touch hearts, uplift others, and point them toward Christ.

This morning, Lt. Aubrey Richardson talked with the students at Jackson Christian School about how to stay safe online! Lt. Richardson is assigned to the Tennessee Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

To honor our 50th anniversary in Christian education, we are proud to launch our "Fifty in Fifty" alumni spotlight.

Congratulations to Stephen Snell, Class of 2000. Stephen serves others through his quiet demeanor and gentle leadership. After attending Harding University and the UT School of Medicine, he completed a family medicine residency and a fellowship in Maternal-Child Health.

Stephen has cared for patients in a variety of settings, including seven years at a mission hospital in Zambia, where he led a clinical team and mentored staff and students in both medicine and their faith. He later spent five years teaching in a family medicine residency program in Texas.

Known for his compassion, Stephen values each patient’s story and seeks to reflect Christ in his care. Deeply devoted to his family, he lives out his faith with intention each day.
