This week our Jaguar News Nation is highlighting our very own Coach Kelsey Murden! This year Ms. Murden has transitioned into a new role working with our WIN (Whatever I Need) time scholars to move them towards proficiency! With her, we know they will achieve their goals because the environment and relationships in her classroom remain phenomenal. Her work with our cheerleaders also remains unmatched! We salute you, Ms. Murden! Keep up the great work!

Mrs. Palmer’s 8th grade Honors STEM class is making use of our outdoor classroom. Judah Sparks and Jean Albarran are testing out their robot they designed to play robosoccer.

🧡💙 Our first Nerf Day of the year “Jersey Jam” was fantastic. Full of fun, dancing, friends, shaved ice, mini pancakes, dirty sodas, and so much more. We loved celebrating good behavior with our scholars! 💙🧡

Congratulations to our scholars who had perfect attendance in the month of August. We are so proud of you all! If your scholar had perfect attendance, they will be coming home with a note and a blue armband.

That armband MUST be worn every day next week to be able to participate. If scholars come dressed down without the band, they will be required to call home for appropriate clothing.  Scholars keep up the good work! 🐆💙🧡

🐾 PERFECT ATTENDANCE PAYS OFF! 🐾

NMS scholars who maintained perfect attendance throughout August have earned a week of free dress from September 8–11 ONLY! 🎉

If your scholar qualified, they will come home today with an official letter and a blue wristband.

🔵 Important Free-Dress Guidelines:

Qualified scholars must wear their blue wristband every day they participate in free dress. If a student arrives out of dress code without the required blue wristband, they will be asked to call home and have uniform clothing brought to school so they can change.

Please remember that free dress is valid September 8–11 ONLY. Students should return to regular dress-code expectations after the reward week.

💙🧡🏃🏽🏃🏿‍♀️ Run Jaguars, run! Today our cross country runners ran a 1.5 mile course! We are so proud of their strength, stamina and the fact that everyone had an amazing finish! Cross country meet 1 is done! Awesome job, Coach Tharpe and Jaguar runners! 🏃🏽🏃🏿‍♀️🧡💙
