Hey everyone! Here is a reminder about Eric Griffin's retirement party this May 2nd at 1805 Devine St, Jackson MS! We'll be celebrating from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm with food and beverages provided. We'll be sure to send details of a rain location the week of, in case of inclement weather.
We are also compiling a small booklet of well wishes and favorite memories of Eric! If you'd like to have a message included, please email [email protected] by April 17th.

Drs. John Yargo (Millsaps '07) and Eric Griffin (Millsaps English Department Chair) at the 2022 Shakespeare Association of America Conference in Jacksonville, FL. Yargo, who successfully defended his dissertation last month, presented in the annual NEXTGENPLEN, a special plenary session honoring the work of up-and-coming scholars. His paper, entitled "Did Environmental Catastrophe Have a Renaissance?", offered an innovative eco-critical reading of The Tempest.
