We’re thrilled to welcome this year’s Academy Ambassadors—a group of dedicated medical students and family medicine residents—who will be joining us at the Annual Scientific Assembly in Sandestin!

We also have 16 Mississippi Family Medicine Residents attending this year! These residents come from the following Residencies: EC Healthnet Family Medicine Residency, Forrest General Family Medicine Residency, Memorial Hospital Gulfport Family Medicine Residency, Mississippi Delta Family Medicine Residency, North Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency, University of Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency.

Conner Thomas, MD, is a Columbia, Miss., native who received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Carey University in 2017 and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2021. Dr. Thomas recently completed her Pediatric residency at UMMC.
