Class of 2030, it is almost time for Freshman Transition Day!

Join us Thursday, August 20, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Students will meet their advisory teachers and classmates, hear from our Student Council representatives, practice walking through their schedules, and learn how our lunch lines work.

Drop-off and pickup will be at the JHS Event Center entrance. We cannot wait to welcome our freshmen and help them feel ready for their first day at JHS!

Orientation starts this week at Jackson High School!

We can’t wait to welcome our students back as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year. Orientation is a great opportunity to pick up schedules, get familiar with the building, and be ready for the first day of school.

Please park in the Event Center parking lot and enter through the Event Center entrance. We look forward to seeing you there!

Class of 2027 Parents.
Seniors are required to have a mandatory meningitis vaccine. Please check you emails for our orientation newsletter that gives a registration link to have the Cape County Health Department give your student their vaccination during Senior Orientation next Tuesday, August 11th.

We have exciting news! The 2025/2026 yearbooks are in. The class of 2026 may pick them up Friday, August 8th or Monday, August 10th at the main office from 8:00-12:00. Current students will be able to pick them up during orientation times.

If you have EXISTING students who will be returning next year, please complete your online registration for 26/27 through the Campus Parent website (your parent portal). Within this registration, there is an option to also add a new student if you have a new one starting along with your returning students.

Nine JHS students traveled with the Missouri Ambassadors of Music performing with other students from across the state of MO to five different countries throughout Europe over the past 15 days. These performances included the cities and countries of London, England, Paris, France, Cran-Montana/Zermatt, Switzerland, Rothenberg, Germany, and Bad Hofganstein/Salzurg, Austria.

If you see one of these students out and about ask them about their trip. They represented Jackson, MO, USA with pride and passion for their music - which is universal across the globe! They even brought a Cashbook Journal with them on their journeys to have a little bit of Jackson with them at all times!
