Calling all Service Members of the MSNG attending college or career technical training this is for you. 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team, 184th Sustainment Command, 66th Troop Command, 172 AW Mississippi Air National Guard, Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, Camp McCain Training Center, 168th Engineer Brigade, 47th Civil Support Team - WMD

💰🎓The Adjutant General’s State Education Assistance Program (SEAP) received an update! Under the NEW MSNG General Scholarship, Service Members can combine SEP funds with FTA. The money will be applied directly to the SM account allowing SMs to use the funds as a general scholarship versus just for tuition.

• Each SM qualifies for up to $5,000 annually for in-state Senior Colleges and $2,200 annually for in-state Junior Colleges
• An additional award can be applied for at the Senior Colleges if the SM does NOT have FTA available. (example ANG and Basic Camp Cadets ROTC)
• These funds will NOT exceed average costs of in-state tuition annually ($9,000)
• Service Members must be in good standing. Benefits can be used simultaneously with CH. 1606 Gl Bill benefits but NOT with CH. 33 GI Bill (Post 9-11)
• Benefits can only be used at in-state institutions both online or in-person
• The program is only for first Undergraduate degree or Technical certification
• Part-time award is based on a minimum of 6 semester hours
• Full-time award is based on a minimum of 12 semester hours

JFH Personal Financial Counselor Opening!!!

Zeiders Enterprises is having trouble filling this contractor position for a Personal Financial Counselor that works out of the Outreach office at JFH. No military status required. Salary negotiable based on experience, $5,000 sign on bonus. It is a contractor position with Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. Please direct questions to Zeider’s as this is not a position that is hired by the MSNG.
