🎄Our Oxford students celebrated Christmas in July as they prepared gift-filled boxes for Operation Christmas Child for this upcoming Christmas season! They donned Christmas themed accessories and enjoyed posing for a few photos. Operation Christmas Child sends shoeboxes to children in need around the world. We love that our students are able to participate in a service that spreads hope and Christmas cheer! 🎄

Jackson Parker, a Jackson Traditional BSN senior, was nominated for and received the STAR award from a patient on 7 South for his compassionate care and commitment to patient safety. The patient appreciated the time and care Jackson spent assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and early mobilization, which contributed to the patient's timely discharge home. Facilitating positive experiences for our patients through the relationships we develop with them helps support their health outcomes and can positively affect how they engage with their health in the future.

The children's hospital has earned Magnet recognition, the highest national honor for nursing excellence, along with seven exemplars recognizing outstanding performance and outcomes.
