Workforce Training

CCE offers a variety of programs for employers, including customized workforce training tailored to meet the specific needs of the employer. Our workforce programs manager will work with you to develop a training program to retool your current workforce and give your business an added advantage. CCE collaborates with economic and workforce development partners to better serve employers in the South Central Michigan region. As such, we are uniquely positioned to assess skill-gaps in the incoming and existing workforce and identify areas where additional training and development would provide maximum impact. As businesses expand and diversify to remain competitive, having a pulse on the local business community allows CCE to be proactive and demand driven in its approach to the region's workforce and professional development needs. What an incredible day at Jackson College! ⚡🍎

Today we hosted our inaugural ReChargED Educator Learning Workshop, bringing together K-12 educators from across the region for a day of hands-on learning, career exploration, STEM demonstrations, and practical classroom ideas.

A huge thank you to all of our presenters, partners, and educators who made this event such a success. Your passion for inspiring the next generation is what made today so special!

Are you or someone you know planning to attend college, a university, trade school, or a workforce program? The Nuestra Comunidad Scholarship awards up to $3,000 to eligible students pursuing their educational goals!

To be eligible, applicants must:
✅ Be a graduate of a Jackson or Lenawee County high school or attend an educational institution in Jackson County
✅ Be enrolled in a degree, certificate, or trade program
✅ Have at least one parent of Hispanic/Latino descent
✅ Be accepted to an accredited college, university, trade school, or workforce program

📅 Application Deadline: August 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM
