The final day of Jackson Sandlot Legends Camp and ALL of Sandlot Summer 2026!!!

The campers and coaches didn’t let a little (or a lot of) rain ruin their joy of the game. They played hard, had so much fun, and were a pleasure to get to know this week.

They were a perfect mix of all the great things that makes Sandlot, Sandlot. It was a great way to end our Sandlot Summer 2026!

Hello Jackson Sandlot Legends Families. That was quite the unexpected thunderstorm we had this evening. We hope everyone is doing ok.

At this point, we WILL have camp, as planned, tomorrow (Thursday). If the dirt fields are too wet to play on, we will move the FUN to the grass. We've done this with many of our camp days in the past. We change up the rhythm of the camp, which keeps it exciting for the campers.

Coach and I will go out to the fields early in the morning. If there is a change, we will notify you via this page, no later than 7:30am. Otherwise, let's have the BEST DAY EVER! 🙌🏻

Jackson Sandlot Day 3

The defense and Baseball IQ just keep getting better. These kids have learned the groove of Sandlot and just wanna play. Their manners and good character are notable standouts, as well. It’s so great to see the joy and love of the game through the eyes of a camper. Good stuff!

Tomorrow is the last day of Sandlot Summer 2026… it’s been such a rewarding experience, serving alongside coaches who “get it” and meeting/reuniting with campers & families from a wide radius.

Jackson Sandlot Day 1

What a great first day of the last camp! We weren’t sure how the energy would be, with the end of the summer here & heading into the school year. But, these campers made the bleachers shake with their morning Sandlot call. They are a FUN group of campers. We’re excited to get to spend the week with them.

We wrapped up Sikeston Sandlot today! It really was a perfect Sandlot day (and week)!

Once again, we are so grateful for the City of Sikeston and all of the families for making us feel so welcome!
