Good evening Viking families,
As we close out another successful school year, we would like to thank all of our students, families, and staff for their support throughout the year. Your partnership plays a vital role in the success of our school community.
Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026! We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make in the future.
As we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year, families should be on the lookout for a more detailed cell phone policy that will align with recently enacted Michigan legislation signed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. The new law requires all Michigan school districts to implement policies restricting the use of wireless communication devices. The legislation is intended to reduce classroom distractions, improve student focus and academic performance, and support student mental health while still allowing exceptions for emergencies, medical needs, and approved educational purposes.
For students who have been invited to participate, Summer School will begin the week of June 8th and will be held Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students attending.
We wish all of our students and families a safe, enjoyable, and restful summer break. Please remember to stay safe, make good choices, and take time to enjoy family and friends.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the first day of school on August 26th.
Have a wonderful summer!
Go Vikings! It's a great day to be a Viking!

These students should celebrate the last day of school a little extra... They have exhibited the Viking 3 Rs of being Resilient, Respectful, and Responsible.
Well done, Vikings!
