Our very own, Toy McLaurin…
Say hi to Toy McLaurin—an at Jackson State University, and your SLP Student State Officer (SSO) in Mississippi!
We asked Toy why she’s proud to be a National NSSLHA member. Here’s what she said . . .
“It’s important to be a part of your community . . . and National NSSHLA is a community that gets students involved by providing opportunities to progress in their pursuit of audiology and speech-language pathology education.”
Want to be a National NSSLHA member too? 2021 membership is open! https://on.asha.org/2SCSzRe

We hope these families enjoy the Thanksgiving cards crafted by our students.

We have been really busy this month!! In the month of October, we participated in the Laps for Little Ones to support the Little Lighthouse, met with students from Mississippi State to discuss future partnerships, provided candy for trick or treat fun with our preschoolers, and decorated our trunks for the preschoolers at the Early Childhood Center. We’ve had so much fun sharing our love of speech and language with the community!
